There’s only one word to describe this week: amazing. It all started on Monday with first-term legislators gathered for 2.5 days of training. Today, it will end with committee and office assignments. In between, we learned about decorum on the House floor, how to write a bill, and a whole bunch of other things that we’ll probably forget between now …
Learning from our local leaders and folks in the community never stops. We can better serve at the state level the more we learn at the local level. At a series of recent meetings, we learned about everything from water to the College of Eastern Idaho.
Gratitude should be something we strive for beyond Thanksgiving. It’s why I’m so very grateful for the people in my life and my experiences this year. I hope to extend my gratitude into 2019 and the next legislative session.
